After being released to consoles (including more recently the Nintendo Switch), what’s more for Bloober Team to do with Blair Witch? Well, seeing as it’s that time of year, why not bring it to VR just in time for Halloween?
That’s exactly what Bloober Team and Lionsgate are doing with Blair Witch: Oculus Quest Edition, a brand-new version of Blair Witch “built specifically for the VR experience”. The title will be headed to the Oculus Quest on October 29th for $29.99.
Oculus Quest Edition will feature environments redesigned for more interactivity and to accommodate new creature encounters. In addition, the game sports a new control system and mechanics for Bullet, your dog. For those who like that sort of thing, you’ll be able to give him a treat right out of your hand, pet him at any time, and even play fetch.
And if Oculus Quest isn’t your thing, Bloober Team plans on releasing VR versions for other consoles in the future.
Blair Witch is available now on PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and the Nintendo Switch.
